1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of IDANCHOR™ ("IDANCHOR", "the Platform"), a digital identity verification and authentication infrastructure developed and operated by Leema Investment Limited ("LeemaID", "Company", "we", "us", or "our").

IDANCHOR is accessible via https://idanchor.com/ and through associated applications, APIs, enterprise dashboards, and integration environments (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Nature of the Services

IDANCHOR is a structured, consent-driven identity verification and authentication platform serving government agencies, financial institutions, regulated entities, political organizations, and private enterprises.

The Services may include, where lawfully authorized:

  • National Identification Number (NIN) validation
  • Voter Identification Number (VIN) verification
  • Nigerian Driver's License authentication
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN) validation and bank account confirmation
  • Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registry verification
  • Academic and employment background screening
  • Biometric authentication and liveness detection
  • Risk indicator confirmation (where authorized)
  • API-enabled enterprise verification services

Verification outputs are structured as confirmation-level responses and do not constitute raw database disclosures.

IDANCHOR does not issue government credentials, alter government databases, or replicate national registries. All source databases remain under the custody of their respective statutory authorities.

3. Regulatory Alignment

The Platform operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory directives including:

  • The Nigeria Data Protection Act
  • Regulations and integration requirements issued by the National Identity Management Commission
  • Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) directives (where Driver's License verification applies)
  • Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 and Corporate Affairs Commission policies
  • Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and NIBSS frameworks (where BVN verification applies)
  • Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) compliance directives
  • Applicable AML/CTF legislation

Use of the Platform must remain consistent with applicable statutory and regulatory frameworks.

4. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years of age or possess lawful authorization to use the Services.

Where the Platform is accessed on behalf of an organization, the user represents and warrants that they possess authority to bind that organization to these Terms and to conduct verification activities under lawful mandate. Enterprise clients must maintain internal authorization records demonstrating lawful basis for identity verification requests.

5. Lawful Use and Consent Requirements

Users may only conduct identity verification where a valid legal basis exists, including explicit data subject consent, contractual necessity, statutory mandate, or regulatory obligation.

By submitting verification queries, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have obtained informed consent where required;
  • The verification request serves a lawful and defined purpose;
  • You will not repurpose results beyond their intended compliance objective.

Leema reserves the right to request proof of lawful authority and may suspend access where misuse is suspected.

6. Prohibited Uses

The Platform may not be used for:

  • Unlawful surveillance
  • Political profiling or voter suppression
  • Commercial resale of identity data
  • Bulk data harvesting or enumeration
  • Synthetic identity generation
  • Unauthorized scraping of registry systems
  • Credit scoring without regulatory authorization

Misuse may result in suspension, termination, and reporting to relevant authorities.

7. Security and Access Controls

Users must safeguard credentials, API keys, and integration endpoints. Access credentials are confidential and non-transferable. The Platform incorporates encryption, IP whitelisting, transaction logging, and anomaly detection mechanisms. Attempts to bypass security controls constitute a material breach of these Terms.

8. Data Accuracy and Verification Outputs

Verification responses reflect available source data at the time of query. IDANCHOR does not guarantee absolute accuracy of third-party registry records and is not liable for errors originating from source authorities. Results are intended as confirmation-level responses for compliance purposes only.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in IDANCHOR™, including software architecture, algorithms, trademarks, branding, documentation, and interface designs, are the exclusive property of Leema Investment Limited or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

10. Suspension and Termination

Leema may suspend or terminate access without notice where:

  • There is breach of these Terms;
  • Regulatory directives require suspension;
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected;
  • Security integrity is compromised.

Termination does not extinguish accrued obligations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leema Investment Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the Services. Aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the affected service within the preceding twelve months.

12. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leema Investment Limited from claims arising from unlawful use, breach of these Terms, or violation of regulatory obligations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent Nigerian courts.

14. Amendments

Leema reserves the right to amend these Terms to reflect regulatory updates or operational changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
